Consultancy vs Partnership

Celtech's not-for-profit model was not just a fiscal decision. As we reinvest our profits into our business, not our lifestyles, we get better. If you are going to invest in a Cyber Security uplift, make your money work hard. Celtech invest in our free tools keeping them current and adding more as we can and we invest in our technical staff by paying for their further education, as an expectation of their employment, not an option. We don't value last year's skills in such a dynamic industry.
Celtech advocate for partnerships and so should you. To us it makes no sense to engage a consultancy and pay for their services allowing them to reinvest some of that revenue into growth for their next customer, possibly your competitor, to benefit from that growth.
Some consultancies have no continuous improvement strategy, so they will not be better for for their next client just as they were no better for you after their previous client.
Other consultancies invest part of their profits into improvement and growth but only offer to work with you again when you need them and are prepared to pay for it.
In a world where Cyber Crime is growing, where industry news abounds with stories of new tools and techniques, where zero day attacks are almost a daily news story, any Cyber Security consultancy who is not actively growing is going backwards, quickly.
Celtech feel regular risk analysis is the smart choice. We feel that the industry is changing and like all things, answers from a year ago may not be the best answer today and even some of the questions we asked back then don't provide that same insight today. With our growing free toolsets that improve over time you can perform FREE self-assessments on your risks based on the current state of the threat horizon and your defensive stance. Then, without you spending another dollar, knowing if you need to uplift your defences.
